Who we are

Dust & Scratch Remover PRO (the "software") is made by Pedro Matos, R. Manuel Lopes Rodrigues 23, 3860-374 Estarreja, Portugal, VAT ID PT207631891 ("we"). You can reach us at support@ds-remover.com.

Who sells it

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

Trial

You can download the software and use it free of charge to import up to 15 images, with every feature available. No account or payment details are needed for the trial.

What you buy

A one-time payment buys a personal licence key, tied to the email address used at checkout. The key unlocks the software with no image limit and includes every 1.x update. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be sold separately; your 1.x version keeps working.

Licence

You may install and use the software on the computers you personally use, for personal or professional work, including commercial work.
Do not share, resell or publish your licence key, and do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the software, except where the law expressly allows it.
The software includes third-party components and models under their own licences (listed in the application folder, in MODELOS-IA.txt and the licence notices); those licences are not changed by these terms.
Licence keys that are shared, refunded or obtained fraudulently may no longer be used, and lose access to updates and support.

Your images

The software works on your computer and never changes your original scans: every result is written as a new file. Your images are not uploaded anywhere. Keep backups of your work; we are not responsible for lost files.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as is. We work to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force on the day of your purchase applies to that purchase.
